Using Dashboards
Overview
This guide covers viewing and interacting with Business Intelligence dashboards in the Admin Panel. Dashboards provide real-time analytics and reporting for monitoring lending operations.

Accessing Dashboards
BI Menu
Click BI in the main menu
System displays the dashboard assigned to your role
Note: Dashboard access is role-based. Administrators configure which dashboard is visible for each role via the BI Catalog. You will see the dashboard assigned to your role, or no dashboard if none is configured.
Refreshing Data
To update dashboard with latest data:
Click Refresh Dashboard action
System refreshes data from source
New timestamp displays showing last update time

Chart Types
Dashboards may include various visualizations:
Line Charts: Trend analysis over time
Bar Charts: Comparative metrics
Area Charts: Volume visualization
Pie Charts: Distribution analysis
Tables: Detailed data views
KPI Cards: Key metric summaries
Filters
Many dashboards include interactive filters:
Date range selectors
Product filters
Status filters
Custom dropdown filters
To use filters:
Locate filter controls (typically at top of dashboard)
Select desired values
Dashboard updates automatically
Drill-Down
Some charts support drill-down for detailed analysis:
Click on a chart element (bar, slice, point)
View detailed breakdown
Navigate back to summary view

Dashboard Not Loading
Possible causes:
Network connectivity issues
Superset server unavailable
Browser compatibility
Session timeout
Resolution: Refresh page, check network, try different browser, re-login if needed.
Data Appears Incorrect
Possible causes:
Data not yet refreshed
Filter applied unexpectedly
ETL process delay
Data quality issue in source
Resolution: Check data timestamp, click Refresh Dashboard, clear filters, report if persistent.
Charts Missing
Possible causes:
Dashboard updated in Superset
Data source issues
Resolution: Contact administrator to verify dashboard configuration.
No Dashboard Visible
Possible causes:
No dashboard assigned to your role
BI Catalog not configured
Resolution: Contact administrator to configure dashboard for your role.
