Notifications

Overview

Notifications are automated messages sent by the system to applicants, participants, and staff when specific events occur.

Navigation: Notifications (main menu) or Object → History tab

Users can view notifications in two ways:

  1. Notifications menu - view all sent notifications in the system

  2. Object history - view notifications related to specific application, participant, or loan

Viewing Notifications

Method 1: Notifications Menu

Purpose: View all sent notifications in the system

Steps:

  1. Open Notifications menu

  2. Review list of sent notifications

  3. Use filters to find specific notifications (by date, recipient, type)

  4. Click on notification to view details:

    • Recipient

    • Send date/time

    • Delivery channel (EMAIL, SMS, etc.)

    • Delivery status

    • Message content

Method 2: Object History

Purpose: View notifications for a specific application, participant, or loan

Steps:

  1. Open the object page

  2. Find the History tab

  3. Review notifications related to this object

Note: Notification display in object history depends on project configuration.

Best Practices

  • Regularly check failed deliveries

  • Report recurring delivery issues to administrator

  • Verify contact information accuracy

  • Update client contact details when necessary

Troubleshooting

Notification Not Displayed in History

Possible causes:

  • Event triggering notification has not occurred

  • Notification template is inactive

  • Template not configured for this event

Resolution:

  • Check if event occurred (e.g., status changed)

  • Contact administrator to verify template configuration

Incorrect Information in Notification

Possible causes:

  • Error in notification template

  • Incorrect data in the system

Resolution:

  • Check data on the object (application, participant, loan)

  • If data is correct, contact administrator to verify template

Notification Sent to Wrong Recipient

Possible causes:

  • Incorrect contact information in participant record

  • Error in recipient configuration

Resolution:

  • Check participant contact information

  • Update contact details if necessary

  • Contact administrator to verify template configuration
