Product Selection

Overview

Credit products define lending terms offered to clients, while additives create product variations for different borrower segments and collateral types. The system automatically generates personalized credit offers based on configured products, participant data, and business rules.

Navigation: Settings → Credit Products (for product management)

Product Management Interface

The Credit Products page displays a list of products with status filtering capability.

Common list fields:

  • Unique identifier

  • Credit product name

  • Active additive indicator

  • Status (Draft, Active, Inactive)

  • Application type (Offline, Online, Pre-approved)

Primary actions:

  • Creating new credit products and additives

  • Copying and adapting existing products

  • Product deactivation

Working with Products

Creating New Product

Use case: Launching a new credit product to market

Prerequisites:

  • Offer generation scripts created in Admin Panel

  • Required collateral types implemented at SDK level

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Credit Products

  2. Select Add New Product

  3. Complete the product creation form and save

  4. System creates new credit product in Draft status

  5. Create first additive on the new product page

  6. Activate the credit product

Result: After activation, the product becomes available for offer generation.

Copying Existing Products

Use case: Creating variations or launching promotions based on existing products

Prerequisites:

  • Source product exists

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Credit Products

  2. Select the product to copy

  3. Choose Copy Product action

  4. Specify Title and Code for the new product

  5. System creates new product in Draft status (original unchanged)

  6. Edit the new product as needed

  7. Create additives and activate

Product Deactivation

Use case: Removing product from lineup or ending promotion

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Credit Products

  2. Select the product to deactivate

  3. Execute Deactivate action

  4. System changes status to Inactive

Result:

  • System stops generating offers for this product

  • Existing loans continue servicing normally

Important: Active products can only be deactivated, not edited. To make changes, copy the product and activate the new version.

Offer Generation

When Offers Are Generated

The system generates offers automatically when an application reaches a configured workflow stage (defined at SDK level):

  • After participant approval in underwriting

  • After automated scoring completion

  • After collateral valuation

  • On demand through manual action

Generation process:

  1. System evaluates all active credit products matching the application type

  2. Offer Engine executes configured scripts for each product additive

  3. Scripts analyze participant profile (credit score, income, obligations, etc.)

  4. System creates personalized offers

  5. Offers become available for viewing and selection

Offer updates may occur when:

  • Participant added (co-borrower, guarantor) → secured offers may appear

  • Collateral added → secured offers with better terms may appear

  • Participant profile updated → recalculation based on new data

  • Manual regeneration triggered

Working with Offers

Viewing Generated Offers

Purpose: Check available offers for an application

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Application page

  2. Open Offers tab in the Deal Details block

  3. System displays all generated offers grouped by products

Displayed information:

  • Product and additive name

  • Min/max amount

  • Min/max term

  • Min/max interest rate

  • Securitization type

  • Offer status (available/unavailable for selection)

Offer Regeneration

Purpose: Recalculate offers after data changes

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Application page

  2. Make changes that affect offers (add participant, update profile, add collateral)

  3. System executes offer recalculation based on updated data

Note: Each project has specific triggers for offer recalculation. Some projects may not allow adding collateral or changing participant profiles.

Selecting an Offer

Purpose: Choose preferred credit terms for the application

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Application page → Offers tab in Deal Details block

  2. Review available offers

  3. Click on the preferred offer

  4. System displays offer details and selection form

  5. Specify:

    • Desired loan amount (within offer min/max)

    • Desired term (within offer min/max)

    • Repayment date

  6. Save the form

Result: Selected offer becomes the basis for the credit agreement.

Note: Selection form and available options depend on project configuration.

Offer Types

Product Offer (Basic)

  • Personalized version of product additive

  • Generated by Offer Engine based on participant data

  • May be unsecured (without collateral)

  • Linked to specific participant

Secured Offer (Collateralized)

  • Extends the basic Product Offer

  • Adds collateral/guarantee requirements

  • References the Product Offer

  • Different procuring type

When secured offers appear:

  • Asset added to application and passed valuation

  • Security type = penalty (generated immediately)

  • Guarantor or co-borrower added and passed assessment

Example: Adding a Guarantor

Initial state:

  • Application with one borrower

  • 2 offers available (max amount: 10,000 EUR)

  • 1 offer unavailable (max amount: 30,000 EUR)

Action: Add guarantor who passes assessment → System regenerates offers

New state:

  • Same 2 offers (10,000 EUR) - available, unchanged

  • 1 new guarantor-secured offer (25,700 EUR) - generated considering guarantor's capabilities

Troubleshooting

Cannot Activate Product

Possible causes:

  • No active additives exist

  • Product already in Active status

Resolution:

  • Check current product status

  • Verify at least one additive exists: Product → Additives tab

Cannot Edit Product

Possible causes:

  • Product is in Active or Inactive status

Resolution:

  • Check current product status

  • Copy the product to create an editable version

No Offers Generated

Possible causes:

  • Product status is Draft or Inactive

  • Application type mismatch

  • Participant not in required status

  • Participant data required by scripts is missing

Resolution:

  • Verify product status is Active

  • Check application type matches product configuration

  • Check participant status allows offer generation

  • Check participant profile data completeness

  • Test offer generation script with participant data

  • Check script execution logs for errors

Offers Not Regenerating After Changes

Possible causes:

  • Participant not in correct status

  • Automatic regeneration not configured

Resolution:

  • Check participant status supports offer regeneration

  • Use manual action to trigger generation if available

  • Verify participant data matches script expectations

Secured Offers Not Appearing

Possible causes:

  • Collateral assessment not completed

  • Assessment result doesn't support secured offer (e.g., guarantor income too low)

Resolution:

  • Check collateral/guarantor status

  • Ensure valuation or assessment is complete
