Notes

Overview

Notes allows users to create, view, and manage comments on system objects to document decisions and share information across teams.

Navigation: Object page → Notes sticker (top-right corner)

The list of objects with Notes functionality is determined by SDK configuration (applications, loans, clients, collaterals, etc.).

Working with Notes

Opening the Notes Panel

  1. Navigate to the target object (application, loan, client, etc.)

  2. Click the Notes sticker in the top-right corner

  3. The system opens a sidebar panel

Panel width can be adjusted by dragging the left border. The header and input field use sticky positioning and remain visible when scrolling.

Creating a Note

Steps:

  1. Open the Notes panel

  2. Enter text in the input field

  3. Click Add Note

Result: Comment is added with your username and timestamp.

Editing a Note

Steps:

  1. Locate your comment in the list

  2. Click the Edit icon

  3. Make changes

  4. Click Save

Result: Comment is updated. The previous version is preserved in version history.

Pinning a Note

Steps:

  1. Locate the comment

  2. Click Pin

Result: Comment moves to the top of the list with a pinned indicator.

Unpinning a Note

Steps:

  1. Locate the pinned comment

  2. Click Unpin

Result: Comment returns to chronological position in the list.

Viewing Version History

  1. Locate an edited comment (displays history icon)

  2. Click the history icon

  3. Review previous versions with their timestamps

Note Organization

Comments are automatically sorted:

  1. Pinned comments (top) — newest to oldest

  2. Regular comments — newest to oldest

Troubleshooting

Notes Sticker Not Visible

Possible causes:

  • Notes functionality not configured for this object type in SDK

  • Insufficient user permissions

Solutions:

  • Verify SDK configuration for this object type

  • Check user permissions in Admin Panel

  • Refresh the page

  • Contact system administrator

Cannot Create a Note

Possible causes:

  • Insufficient permissions

  • Input field is empty

Solutions:

  • Verify user permissions in Admin Panel

  • Ensure text is entered before clicking Add Note

Cannot Edit a Note

Possible causes:

  • Comment was created by another user

Solutions:

  • Confirm the comment belongs to your user account

  • Contact administrator if you need to modify another user's comment
